Business Meeting Minutes
May 7, 2010

I. Call to order
President Dave Taylor called to order the regular meeting of the Oregon State Toastmasters at 12:02 on May 7, 2010, in Room 119 of the Crop Science Building.

II. Attendance
Secretary Kris Hauser took attendance. 15 members out of 27 active members were present, making a quorum.

III. Approval of minutes from last meeting
Secretary Kris Hauser distributed the minutes from the last meeting via e-mail prior to the meeting. They were approved by unanimous consent.

IV. Committee reports
There were no committee reports.

V. Old business
There was no old business.

VI. New business
Officer elections were held. Jim Barbour moved that we submit one ballot for the slate of nominees submitted by the nominating committee. Rachel Faber Machacha seconded the motion. The motion passed. The following is the slate of officers elected for the July 1, 2010 to June 30, 2011 term.

President: Aloke Gupta
Vice President Education: Robyn Murphy
Vice President Membership: Danny Perry
Vice President Public Relations: Bob Hazleton
Treasurer: Kris Hauser
Secretary: Ted Zuschlag
Sergeant at Arms: Glen Murphy

VII. Adjournment
President Dave Taylor adjourned the business meeting at 12:08.
