April 30, 2010 Business Meeting Minutes

I. Call to order

President Dave Taylor called to order the regular meeting of the Oregon State Toastmasters at 12:01 on April 30, 2010, in Room 119 of the Crop Science Building.

II. Attendance
Secretary Kris Hauser took attendance. 19 members out of 27 active members were present, making a quorum.

III. Approval of minutes from last meeting
Secretary Kris Hauser distributed the minutes from the last meeting via e-mail prior to the meeting. They were approved by unanimous consent.

IV. Committee reports
Past Immediate President Ted Zuschlag presented the report of the Nominating Committee detailing the nomination for club officers for the term starting July 1, 2010. Elections will be held at the May 7, 2010 meeting.

The nominees are:
President: Aloke Gupta
Vice President Education: Robyn Murphy
Vice President Membership: Danny Perry
Vice President Public Relations: Bob Hazleton
Treasurer: Kris Hauser
Secretary: Ted Zuschlag
Sergeant at Arms: Glen Murphy

President Dave Taylor adjourned the business meeting at 12:09.
