Tim was Toastmaster for the first time. He did a great job leading us through the meeting. 13 members attended, plus 3 guests, two of whom will be joining.
Speeches
Aloke completed the first project in the Interpersonal Communications advanced manual. Called "Conversing With Ease," it deals with initiating communications with a new person. Aloke practiced making conversation with Robyn.
Grace gave her Icebreaker speech. Titled, "When East Meets West," her speech concerned cultural differences she has dealt with as a teacher.
Danny's Table Topics concerned spring.
Announcements
Contest season is here! The club Speech and Evaluation contests will be held March 12 at the club meeting. The Area contest and Consumer's Power will be April 1. The Division contest will be April 24 on the coast in Florence.
